111 Rune Crafting Method Example – 113 Tries! I wanted to see if the percentage that is shown on monster legends when upgrading runes is accurate. For all my trials, I used three lv 1 runes and one lv 2 rune because they only took seconds to complete. I wanted to only do 100 trials but it ended up being 113 tries.
According to the game, the chance up upgrading to a level 3 rune is 44%.
The game doesn’t mention what the percentage to downgrade or to stay the same is.
My results (I may have counted wrong but, ehh):
Level 1 Runes – 35 – 26.3%
Level 2 Runes – 42 – 31.6%
Level 3 Runes – 56 – 42.1%
So from my results, the percentage of upgrading is pretty accurate. And it seems like the percentage of staying the same is slightly higher than downgrading.
Maybe if I did more trials, I’d find level 1 runes (25%), level 2 runes (33%), and level 3 runes (44%).
When trying to craft runes using at least a lv 3 and above it’s possible for the that rune to downgrade 1 or 2 levels, so it could be worthwhile to test using high level runes.
